At Opus Magnum, we love when creativity takes over and the music just happens. Sometime last fall, Siggy Jackson, Ayman, and TommyBravo came together for a completely spontaneous session. The result was something raw, powerful, and unmistakably unique. A track titled “RDSLA (Screw Freestyle)”, now out for you to experience.

A Tribute to DJ Screw’s Legacy
“RDSLA (Screw Freestyle)” pays homage to the legendary DJ Screw, the pioneer of chopped and screwed hip-hop. True to that influence, the track is intentionally slowed down, with down-pitched vocals that pull you deep into its atmosphere. The bass rolls like thunder, shaking the walls with every note, while the overall vibe captures the essence of late-night freestyle sessions, where energy and instinct drive the art.
Despite being born out of a spontaneous moment in the studio, the song feels intentional, cohesive, and fresh. It shows what happens when you just let go of overthinking and trust the process. Siggy Jackson’s grit, Ayman’s flow, and TommyBravo’s distinctive presence all weave together to create a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-looking.
Opus Magnum Music: Capturing Moments That Matter
As the label side of our studio, Opus Magnum Music thrives on moments like these. We believe that some of the best music comes when artists feel free to experiment and explore without limits. “RDSLA (Screw Freestyle)” is proof of that philosophy — a track that might not have existed without the right space, energy, and people coming together.
This release reminds us why we do what we do: to provide a home for artists where they can turn ideas into reality, whether carefully planned or completely improvised.
